The past January 15, 2025POLIS and the University of the Americas signed an agreement to offer a Programme of Political Education completely virtual. With more than 80% of scholarship students, this initiative seeks to train a new generation of leaders who are committed to the democratic transformation of the Equator.

Last January 15, 2025, Polis Academy for Political Education and the University of the Americas (UDLA) entered into an agreement of academic collaboration to launch the third edition of the Program of Political Education (PFP), an initiative that seeks to form young leaders with a vision critical, inclusive and transformative politics in ecuador. The signing of the agreement saw the participation of the Director General of POLIS, Jeremiah Tama, and materialized thanks to the institutional support of the vice-Chancellor of the UDLA, Carlos Emilio Larreátegui. The dissemination of the program began on January 28 and the classes began officially on march 11, 2025, in the form of fully virtual. This format allows students throughout the country can have access to a quality education without geographical barriers, and it is expected that more than 80% of the participants from accessing the full or partial scholarships, giving priority to vulnerable groups or historically excluded. The MsC. Daniel Cuty, Academic Coordinator of the program, he leads the pedagogical implementation, the load of content in the virtual platform and the sessions accompaniment academic. From Polis is notable that this program “is for those who are not afraid to dream big and believe that politics is a tool for justice and progress”, and that seeks to “develop leaders who not only analyze the problems, but that create genuine changes”. This alliance strengthens the mission of the Polis of democratizing the access to political education, combining theory, critical analysis and practical tools for leadership, active citizenship, political communication, human rights, transparency and more. With ten modules taught by national and international experts, the PFP is consolidated as a space for reflection, discussion and action to build a Ecuador a more fair, inclusive and democratic.
