This July 4, 2024in the House of the Province, we conducted our fair projects in the framework of the campaign Live Without Fear. This event aimed to raise funds for the construction of a memorial to honor the victims of femicide, and was a real success in every way.
The atmosphere at the show was incredibly funny and welcoming. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of stands where they sold clothes, food and other local products. In addition, we count with the participation of organizations that offered free services, including face-painting for children, in charge of Magis, which added a special touch of joy and entertainment to the event.
Among the distinguished participants, we had the gracious presence of the Universidad Católica de Cuenca, took advantage of the occasion to promote his career Science politics and Governance. Their booth was one of the most visited, to attract young people interested in training in this important area of knowledge.
Also, Orgaespi was present with a stand of mental health, providing information and support on this crucial aspect of the overall well-being, which was very much appreciated by all the attendees.
This event was not only an excellent opportunity to raise funds, but also served as a space for encounter and collaboration between different sectors of the community. The solidarity and commitment of all attendees and participants to allow us to pursue our goal of building a memorial to honor and remember the victims of femicide.
We want to express our special thanks to Soledad Street and Micaela Astudillo, who were responsible for the major part of POLIS, and played a fundamental role in the organization and success of the event.
