From Polis – Academy for Political Education, in conjunction with the University of the Americas (UDLA), we open officially internal call to support applications to the XXIII Edition of the Program of Training of Latin American Leaders of the prestigious FAES.
This international program is to develop the 3 to November 8, 2025 in the cities of Brussels (Belgium) and Madrid (Spain). It is addressed to young people committed to the future of Latin America and aims to provide a broad and rigorous treatment of:
- The process of european integration
- The relations between Europe and Latin America
- Scanning
- The energy transition
- And other strategic challenges for the region
All in a framework of active participation, with sessions taught by experts, political leaders and academics of high level.
Who can apply?
To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be between 18 and 35 years
- Be a national of a Latin american State in a Spanish-speaking or Portuguese (includes EE. UU., Portugal – excludes Spain)
- Have university degree or equivalent
- Have valid passport until at least February 2026
- Possess knowledge of English (for the sessions in Brussels)
Required documents:
- Curriculum Vitae in English (max. 3 pages), with recent photograph
- Letter of endorsement issued by a partner organization of FAES (in this case, Polis + UDLA)
- Original essay in English between 1500 and 2500 words analyzing a subject of today political, economic, social or cultural in Latin America
