Our areas of Work

In POLIS working since three pillars that make up the formation, thought, and action to strengthen democracy from Ecuador to all of Latin America.

Training policy

This is the central axis of POLIS, where we believe strongly in the transformative power of education. We promote educational processes, rigorous, apartidistas and accessible, designed specifically for the youth leaders and critical citizenship that seeks to have a positive impact in their communities.

Our programs include a variety of formats, from intensive workshops and school leadership to discussion forums and specialized seminars, available in both modalities, face-to-face and virtual in order to reach a broad audience across the continent.

Academic research applied

In this axis, we generate knowledge that is relevant and of high impact. Through publications, studies, diagnostics, and deep-dive analysis, we address crucial issues such as democracy, the institutions, citizen participation, and political culture in Latin America.

Our commitment is to the public and free of this knowledge. We seek that our findings will serve as valuable tools for decision making, the design of public policies and the strengthening of informed debate in the society.

Incidence

The incidence is the bridge that connects you to the training and research with the specific action. In POLIS, not only generate ideas, but also translate them into strategies and support for social and political processes.
