Political education with academic rigor

The Program of Political Education of the Polis was born to respond to a specific need: Ecuador needs leaders who know how to think, discuss and act with discretion in the public space. Not activists. Not operators. Leaders with real training.

Each edition of the PFP integrates academic knowledge solid with the development of practical skills in policy analysis, leadership and active citizenship. The majority of the participants accessed through scholarships — because Cops believe that the training should not be a privilege.

The program addresses the fundamental issues of policy and governance, combining theory and practical analysis taught by academic experts and professionals.

Organized always with a university

Each edition of the PFP is developed in partnership with a university-level institution that supports academically, the programme guarantees the quality of the curriculum and certifies to the participants. This is not an online course — it is a program with rigor university real.

In its latest edition, the PFP was developed with the endorsement to direct the University of the Americas (UDLA). Each new edition will look for the best partner university available.

You are a resident of Ecuador, have a genuine interest in the public life and you want to go beyond the opinions of social networks. You are looking for real-world tools to think and act with discretion.
You have a vocation of leadership
No matter your age, gender, orientation, or origin. What matters is your commitment and your willingness to work with rigour. The program prioritizes profiles with experience of leadership and representation.
You can access with the scholarship
In the last edition, 80 of the more than 100 participants agreed to grant total or partial. Polis believe that the training quality policy must be accessible. If you meet the profile, apply to the cost should not be a barrier.
