¡Democratizing Ecuador more than ever!

In an effort to promote dialogue and citizen participation, Polis organized an inspiring talk at the School of International Studies of the University of Azuay. In this event, students had the opportunity to interact directly Assemblyman Adrián Castro and Councilman Xavier Bermúdez.

The objective of this meeting was clear: to offer young people a platform to express their concerns, ask questions and share their views with elected officials. We firmly believe that citizen participation is fundamental to strengthening our democracy and to build a country that is more inclusive and fair.

The board of directors of the talk was composed by Jeremias Tama, our General Director, and Camila Argudo, President of International Studies. Together, moderated the debate and ensure an exchange of ideas, enriching and respectful.

In Polis, we believe in the importance of empowering the youth and open spaces for dialogue that will promote active participation in public affairs. By democratizing Ecuador, more than ever, we're building a future where everyone's voice is valued and heard.

We are grateful to the School of International Studies of the University of Azuay for their collaboration in the realization of this event and we hope to continue encouraging citizen participation in all areas of our society.

Together, we are building a Ecuador more inclusive and democratic!
