In POLIS Academy of Political Educationwe are delighted to announce that we have awarded our academic endorsement for the VIII Edition of the Santanamun, a Model of United Nations (MUN) organized annually by the Unidad Educativa Santana Basin.
The Model of United Nations they are a simulation of courses in which students represent diplomats of different countries in committees of the UN, discussing and solving global problems. This activity encourages the development of skills in negotiation, public speaking, and critical analysis.
Our guarantee consisted in providing logistical support and academia to ensure the success of the event. Manage spaces for the inauguration at the University of Azuay, thanks to the collaboration of the School of International Studies and the Club of Commerce and International Business. On the board of directors of the inauguration, we have the presence of our Strategic coordination, Tabata Ortega, and extended invitations to delegates from local authorities.
During all days of the event, our ceo, Jeremiah Tama, and our Coordinator, Legal, Loneliness Street, actively participated as judges of the International Court of Justice in the simulations. In addition, we work hard to get auspices that contribute to the development of the Santanamun.
The last day of the event, in collaboration with the career of Political Science and Governance of the Catholic University of Cuenca, our Academic Coordinator, Rafael Ordoñez, a workshop for all attendees in Political Communication.
Finally, we issue certificates for the best delegates, in recognition of their outstanding performance and commitment during the event.
