Last August 6, 2024, was conducted with great success the second meeting of #BielaConProp\u00f3sito, organized by POLIS Academy of Political Education in the Twenty-Basin. On this occasion, we have the outstanding participation of the pre-candidate Henry Cucal\u00f3n, who met with young leaders in a unique format that allowed for a dialogue deep and meaningful about the challenges facing our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was structured in three main segments, each of them with the participation of four representatives from different youth organizations, addressing critical issues for the future of Ecuador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First Segment: public Safety, Economy and Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In this first block, participants Pedro I\u00f1iguez, Juan Javier Dominguez, Felipe Palacios, and Charity Sanchez discussed with Henry Cucal\u00f3n on the importance of ensuring the public safety, to foster an inclusive economy and to respect the fundamental rights of all ecuadorians. The interventions were rich in content and innovative proposals, demonstrating the commitment of the youth with these essential topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Second Segment: Gender, Vulnerable Groups and Civil Society Organizations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The second segment focused on issues of gender, the situation of vulnerable groups, and the role of civil society organizations. Solitude Street, John Joseph Lamb, Daniel Vintimilla, and Camila Ponce led this discussion, highlighting the importance of equality, inclusion and the strengthening of the organizations that fight for the rights of all citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Third Segment: Education, Government Transparent and Governance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the third and final segment, Juan Francisco Orellana, Jorge Amaya, Juan Francisco V\u00e1zquez, and Camila \u00c1lvarez exchanged ideas on the need of quality education, the importance of a transparent government and the keys to effective governance. The proposals and reflections shared in this segment highlighted the crucial role of the youth in the construction of Ecuador's more just and equitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The moderator and host of the entire event was our General Manager, Jeremiah Tama, ensuring that every voice is heard and every topic covered with the seriousness that it deserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A wonderful Space with Live Audience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This event was a real success, with a live audience, which provided energy and dynamism to the conversation. Attendees were able to witness an open and honest dialogue between young leaders and the pre-candidate Henry Cucal\u00f3n, what made this a memorable meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In POLIS Academy for Political Education, we are convinced that dialogue is the key to building the future we all want for Ecuador.
